Liberty SplashLand is owned by
the Borough of Northumberland and operated by
the Northumberland Parks and Recreation
Commission. A work in progress, the Family
Aquatic Center has made many changes to adapt to
the changing needs in the family today. The park
features a shallow pool, lap lanes, a 12’ diving
well, 70 lounge chairs, sand volleyball, a
concession stand, bath house and the Dump Tower.
Many changes have been made especially the new
types of events that have been a big hit with
the youth of the area. Some new events include a
karaoke night and the all new Liberty Fear
Factor. More changes are anticipated as funding
allows including amusement park type
waterslides, new kiddie water playground,
possible lazy river and maybe the inland surfing
attraction known as the Flow Rider. Come for a
day of fun in the sun and see how Northumberland
is making a good park great.
