Hot Lunches are available and are served at 11:30 a.m. You must call the day before by 9:30 am to order a meal.
Closed Holidays - normal programming July 4 for Independence Day; September 5 for Labor Day.
Cards are played every morning 9:00 am to lunch. Card Parties have refreshments available and non-members are welcome.
Wii can be played almost anytime and is a great form of exercise and entertainment. A treadmill is available for use in the upstairs room.
Birthday’s are celebrated each month on the 3rd Wednesday. We serve ice cream & cake along with lunch.
Trips are taken each month to go shopping and out to eat. Reservations are required.
Pineknotter Days the center will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm selling hot dogs, barbecue, soups and bake goods. If anyone would like to donate bake goods for our sale it would be greatly appreciated. The craft class is raffling off a double size quilt. Quilt raffle: $1 per ticket, $2 for 3 tickets. Drawing for quilt will be at the Anniversary Banquet on July 12.
Farmer Market Vouchers are now available. You must be 60 years of age by the end of 2011. Income guideline is based on the income of everyone in the household.

The vouchers can only be used at Farmers Markets and for items grown in PA only. If you live in an assisted living facility that provides meals, you are not eligible. Free vegetable plants can be ordered from a greenhouse built by the county at the Shamokin Vo-tech. A list of plants is available at the center.
