Emergency Information Request

The Northumberland County Emergency Management Agency is requesting contact information for all persons that would require special assistance in the event of a fire, weather related or other emergency situation?

Persons with Special Needs are defined as, “Individuals who are likely to require assistance in excess of that provided to the general public in a time of disaster, particularly in the event that large scale evacuation is necessary.” This could include those who are deaf, blind, bedridden, mentally impaired, without radio or television, or lacking transportation necessary to evacuate.

A website has been developed to collect information about persons with Special Needs living in private residences within Northumberland County at http://pema.acainc.net/specialneedssurvey/
