Norry’s Haunted Walk
There’s a new twist to this year’s Haunted Walk at Pineknotter Park. Individuals, clubs, organizations and businesses have the opportunity to compete to be the Scariest in Norry!
Each group will pre-register and set up its own scary scene. There is no registration fee.
Children's games, balloon artist, make & take crafts, "Books by the Bag" sale, silent auction, and food (hot dogs, hot sausage, apple dumplings, whoopee pies).
Hula Hoop Contest 12:00 pm
Bubble Blowing Contest 1:00 pm
Marshmallow Eating Contest 2:00 pm
Fishing is open to kids up to 12 years old; $3.50. Prizes are given for catching the biggest fish, and tagged fish.
Something exciting is about to hit Northumberland – the Trek-for-Treats Treasure Hunt! Goodies have been hidden at select Northumberland businesses and are just waiting to be found by kids. Treasure maps have been distributed at schools and are available at participating businesses and the borough office. The goal of this activity is to visit each of the businesses on the map (with an adult) to receive a special treat and a stamp on the map. Once the treasure map has been stamped by
